Here is an opportunity that bike lovers just can’t miss, in one of the most famous European thermal springs, Abano Terme. Thermae & Bike is a perfect conjugation that combines the benefits of a thermal vacation with a first-class cycling workout.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Italian cycling champion Maurizio Fondriest, our guests will be able to use new professional bikes for picturesque rides on the paths of Euganean Hills. These light carbon frame bikes, each one assembled by hand, together with an expert guide from the bicycle champion’s team will become trustworthy companions in the harmonious atmosphere of vineyards, venetian historical villas and breathtaking sceneries of this unique Natural Park. The guided bike tours are divided in three programmes with different difficulty levels.
Upon return from the tour our guests will have a chance to immerse themselves into the wonderworking thermal waters of Abano Terme. An extraordinary team of professionals in the Wellness field will help regain Energy and Vitality.
The package “Thermae & Bike” includes:
- 7 nights with full board with a special menu for health conscious sports practicing guests (including snacks at the return from cycling)
- Free access to the Wellness SPA Center with thermal swimming pools
- A medical check-up carried out by a sports medicine specialist who will perform an objective examination, an electrocardiogram and a spirometry test necessary for undertaking any physical activity. A personal chart with all recommended treatment instructions will be filled as the result of the check-up.
- 5 guided cycling tours (guides from Gruppo Fondriest) with three difficulty levels: blue for amateur cyclists, red for amateur-competitive cyclists and black for super sporty ones
- Use of the racing FONDRIEST bicycles: FONDRIEST R10, a product of a new generation that meets the expectations of both professional and amateur cyclists
- Energy Package with an Energy snack bar and an isotonic drink for every tour
- 5 personalized treatments of your choice: exclusive wellness rituals, innovative beauty treatments (1 hour each) or applications of mature thermal mud with thermal showers, bath therapy and massage (details of thermal treatments will be determined during your medical check-up).
